What is this?

glyphica.art is an interactive audiovisual work on the web—one public way to encounter Glyphica. This guide describes only this work. It does not define Glyphica as a whole or imply that similarly named projects are connected.

How do I begin?

Pointer: move or drag in the field.
Touch: touch and hold, or drag.
Keyboard: focus the field, use the Arrow keys to move, and press Space or Enter to leave a mark.
Sound: press M or use the sound control to mute or restore sound.

That is enough to begin. Further behavior is left for the encounter.

Access and sound

Keyboard and screen reader: the primary field is usable by keyboard, shows a visible focus outline, and provides screen-reader instructions. A complete nonvisual version was not established in this review.
Motion: the work reduces many animations and transitions when your device requests reduced motion. It does not stop all motion or suppress the later calling-card video, and it has no visible motion-pause control.
Sound: sound may begin after interaction. Press M or use the sound control to mute or restore it.
Leaving a layer: Escape returns from later layers toward the primary field.
Later video: activate a video itself to play or pause it. The later videos do not show conventional playback controls and have no captions or subtitles.

These limitations are stated here rather than treated as repaired by metadata alone.

Does this collect data about me?

The site keeps a small first-party record of how an encounter moves after someone meaningfully enters the work. It does not ask for or store a name, account, email address, form response, IP address, user agent, referrer, screen details, pointer path, keystrokes, generated phrase, or media position in the application record.

A random ID lives only in this browser tab's session storage. The private record receives allowlisted stages, a sequence number, visible time rounded to 15-second intervals, reload count, a 15-minute server receipt window, and the work version. Raw encounter rows expire after 30 days and are removed daily. There is no public read route. Test and proof shortcuts are excluded.

This is privacy-limited per-tab telemetry, not a way to recognize a person. It cannot reliably distinguish people from bots or explain why someone stopped. The former post-final feeling interface and its submission route remain absent.

Hosting detail

Cloudflare serves and protects the site, and a Cloudflare __cf_bm bot-management cookie was observed during review. Cloudflare documents that cookie as expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity and as not corresponding to an identifier in the site's application. See Cloudflare's cookie documentation.

Hosting and network systems still receive ordinary connection metadata. The generated hosting configuration enables operational observability; this review did not establish which hosting logs are retained or for how long.

Can I reuse it?

This guide does not authenticate a license or permission for uses beyond ordinary access. Do not infer either permission or prohibition from the page being public. A separate rights answer is needed before reuse, exhibition, modification, redistribution, licensing, or model training.
